After a slow start, the Phillies are starting to turn it on. They’ve always been my favourite teams in MLB. Just read about them here:

Thanks for the new map, quality as always. I truly wasnt trying yo bait with my baseball comment. As a an avid soccer fan and geography buff, I just happen to especially enjoy your soccer related maps.
Obviously it's your site and I enjoy pretty much everything you post. I know there are a lot of baseball fans out there who do enjoy the baseball stuff and as a sports fan i understand.
In short, the only thing I really want to say is I really appreciate your soccer posts and I promise I wont bitch about the baseball ones.

Thanks again for the great site!

Answer: Whew. Don't sweat it Ethan. I really appreciate your contrite response. I guess I am a bit touchy about these baseball teams/ farm clubs maps, after that comment I got on the Washington Nationals post.

Great map as always... however these baseball maps are getting a little old. I cant wait for the US open cup & Libertadores Knockout round maps. You know something not as boring as baseball. Keep up the good work!

Answer: I am not going to take the bait and argue about the supposed boring nature of baseball. But rest assured, 2 Copa Libertadores maps of the Knockout Round (of 16 teams) are coming up. One will feature shots of the stadiums the clubs play in. I haven't started the US Open map yet. Also, there is a Brazil map for the 2009 Campeonato Serie A season. I will post that on Saturday the 2nd of May. If you want to see it now, go to the Pitch Invasion site:

Great map. I previously had absolutely no knowledge of minor league teams in relation to the majors.

Commenter's site: http://coolproducts.com

Answer: Thanks. If you come from a smaller city like I do (Rochester, NY), and you are a baseball fan, you end up knowing a lot about the minor league farm system. And in the 1970's, 1980's and 1990's, MLB teams thought no one from big-league cities would want to go to minor league ball games. Now look at the success of the two lower-minor league ball clubs in New York City, the Staten Island Yankees and the Brooklyn Cyclones (of Coney Island). Minor league baseball is a fun and AFFORDABLE night out, as opposed to so much of major league sports these days.
